Ups and Downs
Multiple departments depending on where you work you will be doing different things. Everything is tracked through their system, if you go more than 5 minutes without doing something it must be logged into the system ( which can take 2-7 minutes) and get it approved by a supervisor. Sometimes you have to log that you spent more than 5 minutes logging something because of the system lag. Production rates keep going up and up, pay not so much.Decent amount of advancement, but knowing the tops are a good deal. Many of the tops have worked together in the past or are in social groups outside of work. Hard work and a specific personality that they look for will get you ahead.Devent 401k matching, pay is ok for the Chippewa Falls Area, very good for entry level warehouse work. Health benefits are pretty good, although this is because it is a non smoking facility. No smoking on company grounds, and you can only leave company grounds for 30 minutes once a shift. Not an issue for non smokers, smokers cheat the system.Biggest issue is DHL is contracted by another company, in this case Mills Fleet Farm. Company is at the mercy of Mills and things change all the time according to what the client wants. Management not allowed to yell, so the mean ones with anger issues poke at you in other ways, even if you are constantly over 100% production rate, gets demoralizing.
Pros
Free coffee, until they take it away again, health benefits, management not allowed to yell/scream (they will get reprimanded)
Cons
Contracted by another large company, many changes all the time.

DHL Its in general a good place to work. Its a Good source of money (you dont have to work so so so hard) (I mean ots not construction or direct health care). A lot of security (like a fed agency).

High pace warehouse environment. Great job security for those who work hard.
This job is not hard it is simply repetitive. As long as you work hard/stay productive management will take care of you and you will have job security
