Strong culture with management involement

There was strong sense of team and family with the group that I worked. They truly care for one another and wanted the plant to succeed. Although there will always be disengaged people in any organization. overall the people were good to work with.

Good pay and benefits

Overall Nestle is a great company to work for. If you don't mind working long hours you can make alot of money. The benefits are really good and management is usually fair and they will support you if you just try to do your best.

Poor management skills, always the employees fault. Overall high school drama with all employees .. poor productivity, no advancement .. machine break downs all departments

They will find away to take advantage and screw you over..... take this as a warning or go ahead and see for yourself!!! You will regret your decission before you know it if you go to work for Nestle

Great place to gain food packaging experience

Nestle really tries to treat their packaging interns like full time employees and gives good meaningful projects. A typical week for me usually involves travel as I lead packaging trials and go to supplier trainings quite often.

Nestle was a very professional place to work that offered the chance to move up if you put in the work and wanted the opportunity. Management was competent and organized.

Not a bad place to work, but change is nearly impossible

Work/Life balance is difficult. Upward mobility is very possible if you are willing to move to another part of the country. If not, it seems like all future advancement in your facility is already planned.

Expect to work a lot

Don’t expect much from this place. Always short handed and always over worked. They say safety is #1 but they always rush you to meet production goals.

It's a toss up

There are good things, such as pay and discounts. On the other hand, there are bad. In my opinion the worst is that the day to day can greatly vary. Some days things run wonderfully, and other days you're severely understaffed and overworked.
