Are you passionate about turning design concepts into precise technical drawings? Do you have a sharp eye for detail and experience in furniture design or product development? Bazar Bizar is looking for a Technical Drafter to support our design and production teams with high-quality technical drawings and specifications.

In this role, you will translate creative ideas into production-ready technical plans, ensuring our furniture is crafted to the highest standards. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to refine designs and optimize production processes. If you have expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp, and a strong understanding of materials and construction techniques, this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Create Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for furniture designs, ensuring precise measurements and specifications.
• Collaborate with the Design Team: Work closely with designers to transform creative concepts into technical plans that are ready for production.
• Material & Construction Specifications: Define and document material choices, construction methods, and finishes to align with production capabilities.
• Design Refinement & Updates: Modify and improve existing furniture designs based on feedback from the design team, production team, or market trends.
• Support Production: Ensure clarity and accuracy in technical drawings to prevent issues during manufacturing and assist with problem-solving when needed.
• Quality Control: Maintain high attention to detail in all drawings, ensuring compliance with design and production standards.
• 3D Modeling: Assist in 3D modeling or renderings for enhanced visualization, if required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Drafter, CAD Designer, or similar role, preferably in furniture, interior design, or product design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Rhinoceros, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus).
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in technical planning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and production teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to suggest design improvements based on technical feasibility.
• A background in interior design, industrial design, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with furniture manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
