Analyst

Position Required:

Analyst (min 5 yrs of experience analysing financial performance of businesses using Microsoft excel).

Full time contract role.

Australia Time Zone.

Base Pay:

Minimum 12 month contract.

Renewal depends on performance.

At least 5 days a week, at least 8 hrs per day.

Total Pay:

9,000,000 IDR per month (first 3 months of probation)

11,000,000 IDR per month (thereafter)

Additional bonus tied to performance available for the right candidate.

Requirement:

Full time hours in Australian (Melbourne / Sydney) time zone.

You will be required to work in the following Australia Melbourne / Sydney time:

Certain days will require:

9am - 5pm (Melbourne / Sydney time)

Some days will require:

3pm - 11pm (Melbourne / Sydney time)

Job Description:

50%~70% of the work

Manually optimising Uber Eats advertising campaign settings in real time for potentially 6~8 hrs a day. Requires you to be sitting in front of your computer, making real time adjustments to advertising campaigns every 15 minutes to limit loss and increase Uber Eats sales for restaurants.

Remaining 50%~30% of the work

- Optimise menu of restaurants on Uber Eats merchant portal to increase average order spend and menu conversion rates for restaurant owners.

- Check for pricing error, spelling error and technical errors on the menu that you or your colleague has optimised.

- Use PhotoRoom AI and ChatGPT to create and edit photos for menus on Uber Eats merchant portal.

- Analyse and explain how advertising costs and promotions costs affect the sales of each store.

- Use Microsoft Excel financial model to calculate and analyse each restaurant's gross profit margins.

Adaptability to change in work requirements

- You must be prepare to adapt to change in the above work requirements over time. The split between the work described may evolve over time.

Non Negotiable Requirements:

• Extreme attention to details, spelling errors, pricing errors. Skilled in performing "sense checks" to quickly determine whether something is right or wrong.Your own subscription to Microsoft 365 suite (word, excel, powerpoint)
• A very fast laptop and very fast internet (for smooth video conference and AI usage)
• Advanced skills in excel. You will be tested during the video interview.
• 5 yrs experience performing financial analysis on businesses in previous jobs.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics.
• Example of past job experience that we look for: Accounting, Audit, Credit Analyst, Business Analyst, Mergers & Acquisition Analyst, Financial Modeller or jobs that demonstrate high proficiency in maths, calculations, excel calculation and analysis.

Academic qualifications required:

Minimum university degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics.

Expert level English language skills (read and write).
