Sr. Corporate Legal Officer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the drafting, comprehensive review, and high-level negotiation of complex commercial contracts and legal agreements to ensure maximum protection and regulatory compliance.
• Direct the end-to-end process for obtaining and renewing production licenses, Halal certifications, and BPOM product registrations.
• Oversee all mandatory corporate reporting, including but not limited to the management of OSS (Online Single Submission) updates and periodic industry reports to the Ministry of Industry (SIINas).
• Conduct advanced legal research and prepare analytical memos or reports to provide management with actionable insights on complex operational issues.
• Develop strategies for legal disputes, manage the preparation of litigation documents, and supervise the maintenance of all case-related files.
• Proactively monitor changes in laws and regulations to identify potential risks and implement internal policies to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Act as the primary point of contact for managing strategic relationships with government agencies, regulators, and external legal consultants.
• Ensure the company adheres to all certification requirements and maintain an organized, secure database of all corporate legal files.
• Provide expert legal opinions on new business initiatives and offer guidance to ensure all departments comply with industry-specific regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (S1).
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the legal field, either in a law firm or in-house.
• Proven experience in managing OSS (Online Single Submission), Halal certifications, BPOM registrations, and SIINas (Ministry of Industry) reporting.
• Expert in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
• Strong knowledge of civil law, corporate law, and industry-related regulations.
• Strong analytical , communication , and detail-oriented time management skills.
• Full proficiency in English, both oral and written.
