Job Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Finance Manager / Senior Accountant with 5 to 10 years of solid accounting and finance experience in the Indonesian real estate or construction sector.

In this role, you will be the core custodian of our project financials. You will not only manage deep accounting functions and financial reporting but will also be responsible for establishing tight financial discipline by adopting robust internal controls and strict approval processes. You will oversee two distinct financial tracks: tracking heavy construction project milestones and managing day-to-day operational expenditures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Accounting Knowledge & Financial Reporting

· Maintain full ownership of the company's accounting ecosystem, ensuring all transactions comply with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).

· Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) to executive management.

· Oversee corporate tax compliance, accurate filings, and optimization.

2. Internal Controls & Approval Processes

· Implement, and enforce strict internal control policies to protect company assets and prevent financial leakage.

· Establish and monitor multi-tiered workflows for purchasing, contract signing, and fund disbursements.

· Conduct regular internal reviews of financial data to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

3. Budgeting & Financial Planning

· Lead the annual operational budgeting process and individual project/villa construction budgeting.

· Perform variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) on a monthly basis, flagging overruns early and providing actionable course corrections to project managers.

4. Payment Monitoring (Operations & Construction)

· Construction Payments: Validate contractor invoices against physical on-site progress milestones. Ensure retention sums, advance payments, and vendor terms are strictly adhered to before releasing funds.

· Operational Payments: Oversee corporate overheads, marketing expenses, payroll, and eventual villa/apartment management operational costs, ensuring all expenses are properly categorized and approved.

5. Bank & Cash Management

· Manage corporate liquidity, optimizing cash balances across multiple bank accounts to ensure seamless project funding.

· Produce precise weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to predict and manage funding requirements.

· Oversee bank reconciliations, foreign currency exchanges (if dealing with international investors), and maintain relationships with banking partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record specifically within property development, real estate, or main construction contracting in Indonesia.

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

· Core Skills: Sound accounting knowledge; exceptional understanding of cash flow dynamics in real estate cycle times.

· Controls Mindset: Prior experience setting up or significantly refining internal control frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Systems: High proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, Accurate, Odoo ERP) and advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel and Office.

· Taxation: Solid Indonesian tax knowledges.

· Languages: Business-level fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (vital for handling international investor reporting and dealing with local construction teams).
